I have always been fascinated by surfaces that are weathered and shaped by nature and how they relate to forms constructed by human intention. When looking at a stone or any other organic form, I am inspired to draw parallels between its history and my own journey through time and space, noticing how my body and mind have been shaped by external influences as well as my own choices. My work depicts times of personal transition, of seeking balance between making peace with the uncontrollable forces that shape my world and taking ownership of my fate. It also explores the relationship between my spiritual discoveries and specific geographic locations.
